ATSI (Formerly KMI)

One of the defining principles of Structural Integration is the inter-relationships of connective tissues, and myofascial layers found in our human structure, and how we are significantly affected by the powerful force of gravity.

Family on a swingCristy Harper is an Anatomy Trains Structural IntegratorRegistered Massage Therapist, and Neuro-Functional Acupuncturist in good standing with the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba. In 2010, after practicing within the massage therapy profession for 4 years, Cristy decided to expand her knowledge and expertise in the study of myo-fascia and graduated from the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration program in Seattle Washington. This certification and successful completion of the CBSI exam has given her the necessary credentials to practice as a board certified structural integrator both here in Canada as well as internationally. In September 2017, Cristy completed a teacher training program in Maine and she has begun the certification process to become a certified Anatomy Trains Instructor. She is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to study with Tom Myers and looks forward to sharing her knowledge with the next generation of ATSI practitioners.

Cristy will be heading back to Arizona in February 2019 to attend another human anatomy dissection. “It is this experience that forever changed my ability to see on a deeper level, and I am excited to return to the lab and further my knowledge and depth of understanding of the incredible intricacies of human anatomy, and myo-fascial tissues. ” Cristy Harper.

Some of Cristy’s passions include running, weight training, cycling, travelling, learning, playing with her adorable French bulldog Hugo, and most importantly, the amazing and exploratory journey in her profession that keeps her striving for a deeper understanding of human structure and function. She would like to thank you in advance for the opportunity to work with you, on her quest to conceptualize the human potential, and the dynamic relationship that exists with gravity.

“I am very grateful to have the opportunity to join the Winnipeg community as a local health care provider. Through continued professional development, working with clients all over Canada, and by setting my own fitness and health goals, I hope to exceed the expectations of my new clientele. I strive to make sure that my clients receive exceptional patient care by offering tailored treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each individual customer. I welcome your questions about how my areas of practice can help you in mobility, stability and in health.”
